Man Killed In Rollover Accident from DUI

A man is suspected of driving under the influence and was killed after being ejected from his vehicle during a rollover accident. The man was a 38-year-old who was found dead in the flipped vehicle. The man was not wearing a seatbelt, which is why he flew through the front windshield. While the autopsy will determine his BAC, the police found both full and empty cans of beer at the scene and suspect that the man was violating both DUI and open container laws. When someone has been drinking, it’s easy for alcohol to inhibit their brain function and make it hard for them to drive. People who have had a lot to drink will lose concept of speed and won’t be able to see the road in front of them clearly. Like driving through a fog, these people won’t be able to see what is coming next.
Like this man’s tragic story illustrates, driving drunk is very dangerous. People can perish because of a couple of beers if they are not careful. The law is aware of this, and takes DUIs very seriously. If you have been accused of drunk driving then you need to hire a DUI defense attorney to help you on your case. The police are merely doing their job by pulling intoxicated drivers over and taking them to jail. But sometimes they get it wrong. People who may read above the legal limit on a breath test might actually be innocent, but have appeared guilty due to malfunctions with the breathalyzers.
