Two Officers Stopped for Suspicion of DUI
In Surprise, Arizona, photos have been released of two police officers who were recently stopped for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
On separate evenings, Detective Cameron Scadden and Sgt. John Flanagan were stopped for suspected DUI by authorities in Surprise.
Officers say that Scadden blew .107 after submitting to a breathalyzer when he was pulled over on February 28 just after 2:30 AM. Police did not detain him, but he was cited for misdemeanor DUI and later released into the care of a superior.
Last Saturday at approximately 11:30 AM, local police stopped Flanagan who blew a .178 which is two times the state's legal limit. He was later released into the care of a police lieutenant from the city of Phoenix and was not issued a citation.
