Multiple DUI offender Caught
Officer Quentin Shark of the California Highway Patrol pulled over Alan John David Evan this week, unaware that he was a multiple DUI offender.
Evan, 33, was initially pulled over on Hwy. 101 for going 77 in a 55 mph zone; Officer Shark quickly learned that this was not the first time he had gotten into trouble. A background check revealed that Evans had several prior convictions: two prior convictions for DUI, driving on a suspended license, as well as a no bail warrant out for his arrest for DUI.
The day before an officer pulled over 50-year-old Phyllip Warren Allen for pulling out in front of another driver. After calling in his information, officers learned that Allen was driving without insurance, on a suspended license and has two prior DUI convictions.
