Rick Springfield May Face DUI Charges
According to multiple news sources, a famous singer from the 1980s may be charged with driving under the influence (DUI). That singer is none other than Rick Springfield who is most known for his hit "Jessie's Girl" as well as his role on the soap opera General Hospital. Back in May, Springfield was arrested for DUI while in Malibu, California and the charges would stem from that arrest.
Sources say that while he is facing charges for DUI, he will not be charged with threatening a police officer. It is said that Springfield became heated when an officer told him that he may tow his 1963 Corvette Stingray. Springfield allegedly told the officer, "If you tow my car I will (expletive) kill you and your family."
