Mark Grace Arrested for DUI
A former Chicago Cubs player enjoyed his Memorial Weekend just a little too much, until he was arrested by local police, that is.
According to the Scottsdale Police Department, 46-year-old Mark Grace was arrested for driving under the influence over the weekend. Although they aren't releasing any specific details, the police department did say that Grace's blood-alcohol level was over the state limit of 0.08, making him DUI impaired. When officers pulled him over, Grace admitted to "having a few drinks;" the arresting officers later stated that he was impaired to the slightest degree.
Grace played for the Cubs for 13 years before he moved to the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001. He followed shortly after the 2003 season. The former player now works as a color analyst for the Diamondbacks on Fox Sports Arizona.
