Woman to Answer to 5 DUI Related Charges

In Denver, a woman who has been charged with the death of a parking valet had to make her first court appearance during morning hours.  Norma Vera-Nolasco stands accused of killing parking valet, Jose Medina.  Recently, Vera-Nolasco was returned to the Denver area from Phoenix to answer to her charges.

In the month of January, the defendant was placed under arrest at a Phoenix area airport while trying to board a plane that was leaving for Mexico.

Vera-Nolasco has been charged with five criminal offenses. She is currently facing charges for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in injury,vehicular homicide DUI, vehicular homicide reckless driving and also criminal impersonation.
