Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce's Son Arrested

The Associated Press recently reported that the son of Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce was placed under arrest for two outstanding warrants that were linked to probation violation as well as failing to appear in court.

While at his home, 30-year-old Joshua Trent Pearce was taken into police custody without incident.

Law enforcement was contacted by Maricopa County Adult Probation officials prior to the arrest.  They learned that Pearce had an outstanding warrant for probation violation and a second warrant for failure to appear in court for charges relating to two counts of aggravated DUI.

According to one news source, the bond on the probation violation had been set at $2,500 and the other bond for the DUI counts was set at $5,000.
