Suspect Arrested for DUI Two Times in One Week
This week in the city of Phoenix, local news sources reported that the son of a law enforcement official was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). Oddly, this is the son's
second DUI arrest of the week.
Police say that they stopped the suspect on Sunday morning because he exhibited poor driving behavior. The 20-year-old was detained by officers after several witnesses saw him driving erratically and decided to alert authorities. When police arrested the suspect, his vehicle had become inoperable as he had crashed into a raised curb.
Officers say that throughout the arrest, the suspect cooperated and allowed them to administer tests to gage his level of impairment. At this time, no charges have been filed as police are still waiting on the suspect's test results.
