In Tucson, reports from News 4 say the Douglas woman who was hit by a DUI offender last month is in stable condition, but still in the Intensive Care Unit at University Medical Center.
Now, it is said that the Arizona Cattle Growers Association is acting on behalf of the family of Sue Krentz, the widow of a wealthy Arizona cattle rancher, Robert Krentz. Krentz has received numerous surgeries to repair the damage she suffered to her leg and pelvis. However, she remains heavily sedated while recovering and her head is still very swollen.
Allegedly, Sue and her friend were crossing a street when they were hit by a driver, Ramon Saucedo. Now, Saucedo is facing charges for driving under the influence and aggravated assault.
Since the accident, the ACGA has set up a fund to help the Krentz family with the medical expenses.
