Arizona Holiday DUI Enforcement Has Begun
This week, it was announced that the holiday enforcement season officially started for police agencies throughout the state of Arizona. Multiple agencies plan to team up in order to keep the roads throughout the state safe.
On Tuesday, Governor Jan Brewer and the head of several departments unified to show residents that driving under the influence on the roads of Arizona will not be tolerated during the 2010 holiday season.
It was announced that multiple patrol units will saturate the state's highways and streets and will be on the lookout for drivers who are under the influence o f drugs and alcohol.
The 2010 Holiday DUI Task Force will run from November 19th until January 1, 2011. So far, or law enforcement agencies report that there were 167 DUI arrests in the state during the specified period.
